Bad Anxiety

I love all the advice on this thread! I've struggled with anxiety and panic attacks since childhood, and one thing I can say makes a difference is self care. Watch that show you wanna watch. Take a bubble bath and fill it up a second time, or have the large milkshake. Light candles for your living room even if you are the only one home. And as far as in the moment help, I try and regulate and slow my breathing, as well as thinking of 5 things I can see, hear, and smell. Coming into terms with my senses helps me ground myself in the actual reality and not whatever I'm freaking out about in my head

It's been awhile since I been on this thread but I should probably do an update saying thank you for the advice I noticed I been less nervous than I usually am. I still stand by my post talking about how wonderful the community has been! :)
