I noticed that after someone gave me control over their room that I was able to place my own items in their room. While in their room the "iteminfo" still says that I'm the owner, yet it won't let me pick it back up.
Also, I'm pretty sure its been mentioned that once you give someone control over a room, it's impossible to take it away from them.
These are pretty major bugs, so watch out and don't lose your stuff in someone elses room like I did!
