presents are gone?

the presents i received are missing after the update and the presents i gave people are gone too. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm guessing it is. bc there was a tweet that yes....be careful when giving gifts, a lot of people have letters that look like other letters (capital i for lowercase L) in their name!

In the future, just try not to gift presents that you're currently wearing. That's what glitched both of me and @iggypeach

Have they fixed the issue of no notification when opening the gift. I received some gifts but when I opened them I did not receive the console message so I had no idea who gave me the gift or what it was. @Lisawdw

Probably the best thing to do is wait a couple days to open gifts until staff fix all the glitches @Midien @cruise

mine vanished after moving them. I have no clue where it is and I didn't receive a notification.

I still have no idea on how to send presents to another person. Pretty sure I saw a post from VMK_Lumos somewhere saying they would update the Newsletter with that information but it is now Christmas Day and I still don't know.

Plus... can you only gift something you already have? I know in the old VMK you could send presents to people and when they opened them they were something new - vaguely recall a yellow wreath as being one. If it is just what you already own then aren't you really doing a one-sided trade and could use the trade box?

@Stargirll you sign into myvmk.com, go to the inventory tab, and click what you want to give. It has a spot where you can type the VMK name of who you want to give it to but yah it's basically a trade with a gift wrap deal
