Typhoon Lagoon

I remember this room really well, but for the life of me I can't remember how you used to be able to get there or what land it was in.... Can somebody help me out?

I think you had to go to a certain typhoon lagoon guest room and then you went down a waterslide or an exit to get there.

They made Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach guest rooms. It looks like they were rewarded through quests. Here's some info from a wiki:

From these rooms you could exit these rooms and end up in a swimming pool known as Shark Reef. There is no other way into this room I believe...
