Antiquated and pointless or no? I can't remember the last time anyone really tried to get you to LITERALLY "subscribe" to their site (even newsletter pushes seem to be at an all time low... remember those and that thing called e-mail?)... social media updates have totally taken the place of that.
On one of my sites, my CMS automates an RSS feed but I never bothered to check how many people actually subscribed to it... not that I could honestly get an accurate number without running the link through some sort of plugin.
Anyway, what do you guys think?
