Gender neutral refers more to items that have no assigned gender to them, such as clothes, toys, hairstyles, etc. Nonbinary refers to a gender that doesn't follow your "guidelines of gender" meaning this person isn't a boy or a girl.

so someone who is nonbinary tends to follow gender neutral guidelines, such as what u said about clothes and also pronouns like "they", "them", etc?

Not exactly. I know a lot of nonbinary people who use he/him or she/her. It's more preference. Honestly, I don't like labelling things with gender, because I feel as if clothes or hair styles or books or anything have to have a certain gender.
