How the Trading Forum is Organized:
The "Trading Post" is for discussing anything and everything involving trading your in-game items. This includes value threads, something you are trading, something you are looking for, trades involving credits, questions about various items for trade, or if a trade is fair, etc. Please only post about the above types of threads in the "Trading Post" area.
There are four sub-forums in the Trading Post for active trades. These include: "Looking For", "I'm Trading", "Credit Trades", and "Values"; the fifth sub-forum is the "Archive", where you can research past trades that have already occurred. When posting your trading thread, please post in the appropriate sub-form!
Looking For: Post in this section if you are looking for an item! For example, if you are in need of 100 ash, you would post "Looking For 100 Ash" in the "Looking For" sub-forum.
I'm Trading: Post in this section if you have something up for trade! For example, perhaps you have an inferno magic pin you would like to trade. You would create a new thread titled "Trading Inferno" in the "I'm Trading" sub-forum.
Credit Trades: This section is specifically for trades which involve credits. We also have two prefixes that you must choose between when creating a thread in this area.
Values: This section is only for trades which involve values. This may include Value Checks or anything else related to the value of something.
Trading Thread Prefixes
"Trading Credits" Prefix: If you are looking to purchase items for credits, please tag your thread title with the "Trading Credits" prefix. For example: If you have 10,000 credits for trade,
This is the prefix you would want to use!
"Looking For Credits" Prefix: If you are looking to trade your items for credits, please tag your thread title with the "Looking For Credits" prefix. For example, you have 50 ash that you are looking to trade away to someone else for credits. This is the prefix you would want to use!
"Value Check" Prefix: If you are curious about the value of an item, please tag your thread title with the "Value Check" prefix. For example, you have a Stitch Hat you are considering trading, and want to know the value of it, this is the prefix you would want to use!
NOTE: Titles should include as much information about the particular items being bought or sold as possible.
Moving Threads:
You may see some notifications from a moderator that your threads have been moved. We move all threads that have been inactive for at least 30 days to the trading post archive. Threads that have been locked or requested to be closed will also be moved to the archive. This helps us control the clutter within each sub forum. This also helps keep the threads up to date for members looking to make trades. If you would like to continue the thread, send me a private message and I will move it from the archive to the appropriate sub-forum. We do not PM each member when the old threads are moved to the archive, due to the large number of threads that are moved.
If you post in the wrong sub-forum, we will move the thread to the correct location and post a message on the thread that it has been moved. If you realize you accidentally posted in the wrong sub-forum, either tag or private message a moderator and they will be happy to move it to the appropriate sub-forum for you!
Please note: The first time you post in a wrong sub-forum, we will move it for you and send you a friendly reminder to make sure you post in the appropriate sub-forum in the future. After that, you may start to earn infractions on your account, so please pay attention to where you are posting!
Who to PM/Tag for closing a thread, moving a thread, etc:
You can tag or PM any of the forum staff for help in moving a thread, closing a thread, or asking questions in general about the trading section. If you have any of these questions feel free to contact @Han Solo @Tweety @Cheshire @Felicia @Figaro or @Angel who can assist you with any trading issues.
Bumping Threads:
Threads can ONLY be bumped after 12 hours of inactivity. If you bump your thread early, we will first give you a friendly reminder to wait at least 12 hours to bump your threads, then after that you may start to receive infractions against your account.
Real World Trading/Cross Game Trading:
We do not allow trading threads that include cross game trades/money trading. The trading forum is strictly for trades that happen entirely within the in game trading window (MyVMK items for MyVMK items/credits).
