I have 2 4GB DIMMs, but I average using around 6 GB constantly as a baseline.. perhaps it's time I add more...

I play on a laptop, I actually have 2.74 GB usable ram so I rounded down to 2. I do not have any issues with myVMK on this standard issue laptop but on our netbook running only 2 GB (1.73 usable) it does show a slight issue with performance.

I have an old WindowsXP laptop running 1GB and a Mac Desktop that is running 4GB. The Windows laptop runs the game much better than does the Mac. Up until a few days ago I could at least play on the Mac but now all it does is send me back to reauthenticate screen when I try to sign in. Prior to this issue though everything loaded quicker than the laptop. The mini games however worked much better on the old laptop.

Personally, my computer has no Rams... But in my backyard, I have close to 24 in the herd as of now. there is a set of triplets on the way. I think Rams are beautiful creatures, and have so much to offer to the human race. Thank you for caring about the Ram population Amy, You are perfect in every way

All that RAM after 16gb is practically pointless to use on most computers lol. Unless you are running 100 Photoshop edits, rendering 10 videos, and playing 5 intense games.

I actually have 3GB, so I just chose 2. I have been needing to upgrade for a while with all of the 3D programs I use. I am hoping to go to 4GB+ soon.

I have Windows 8.1 so I hope I was looking at the right section in the propeties: It said 8 GB of RAM, so I voted 8 gigs. I wish I had more being that this is technically a gaming computer. Would be nice but alas, no such luck.
