David Ogden Stiers passed away yesterday (March 3, 2018) at the age of 75 after a battle with cancer.

He lent his incredible voice to the following Disney characters:

• Cogsworth and the opening narrator from Beauty and the Beast
• Governor Ratcliffe and Wiggins from Pocahontas
• The Archdeacon in Hunchback of Notre Dame
• Fenton Q. Harcourt in Atlantis: The Lost Empire
• Dr. Jumba Jookiba in the Lilo and Stitch franchise
• Mr. Jolly from Teacher's Pet

...as well as a few others that I haven't mentioned here.

Thank you for all the magic, Mr. Stiers! You will be sorely missed! Rest now, for your battle is over, and you're free!
