You forgot what ?No? means

#1
(I?m not much of a poet, I?ll try my best)

You forgot what the word No means, mother
You promise your friends
That I will do them a favour
And trying to say no to them
Leaves my mouth with a bad flavour

You forgot what the word No means, dear mother
When I scream, when I beg, when I cry
Occasionally, you ask me why
But when I give you an explanation
?I am busy, I am tired?
like from another nation,
My words to you are foreign

You forgot what the word no means, dear predator
When you violate my personal space,
When your fingers cross the line
And as you watch my face
You think to yourself ?You are mine?

You watch my reaction, you feel me stiffen
You watch your hands go places
You don?t care if you?re invasive

But you forgot what the word ?no? means
You will challenge my decision
You think you own me , control me
You never actually wanted my permission

Both of the people I?ve mentioned before
Don?t know what the word ?no? means
No, they do know

But that word is long gone from their vocabulary
They both disrespect me
Will to sacrifice anything for their sick fantasy
My mental health, my happiness
I am now filled with emptiness

This is how important the word ?no? is
I do not owe you an explanation,
For you have long ago made up your mind
A new victim; you will have to find
