I just believe that this competition should be pushed back a few days until the bugs are fixed. There can't be a fair competition when the game is not consistently counting score.

For whatever reason, points are not being awarded for certain fireworks. I know this because my score was 1955 towards the end of the last level and I hit a number of fireworks at the end and did not get credit for them. This appears to not be restricted to the last level and may be happening...

In case no one remembers, VMK ran an event for a period of time called "Fireworks Fridays" in which the credit rewards were doubled for the fireworks game on Fridays. I think this would be cool to have to celebrate the opening of Fireworks. Here's an image for a little nostalgia.
