I couldn't scan mine either but I took a picture of it on my phone and it looked fine. Just make sure lighting is ok! Mines posted on the valentines thread if you'd like

You did not have to scan it in to enter it. For next time... just take a picture of it with a camera or phone and then upload it to the computer. That is what I did with mine
