Black Screen

I have not been able to log in for three days now. It gets through the loading process and then remains a black screen. I have never gone past the black screen. Help please?

The black screen is typically a Shockwave issue. Try upgrading it.

Are you on Windows or OSX?

Are you on Mavericks? If so, there is a known issue with Shockwave on it. A fix should be coming soon. If you want more information, look here.

where can you check to see if you are on mavericks? this just happened to me today. ive uninstalled and reinstalled shockwave but i am still getting a black screen also.

Apple menu > About this Mac. If you're on 10.9, then you have Mavericks. You're not likely to have Mavericks unless you purposely upgraded, though.
