I collect keychains. I have this weird love for cheezy, novelty, and even strange keychains. I have a tin box full of random ones. I collect for the fun of it, and because it makes me happy.

Do you collect anything? If so what do you collect, and how large has your collection become?
Do you collect things for the fun or the value? Write below!

Decks of cards from casinos, mainly Vegas or Laughlin. I had one from every casino, pre-expansion boom that has happened, in Vegas. My collection is well over 20 decks, and I honestly don't have a valid reason for collecting them other than to say that I have.

Pez dispensers :) I have hundreds of them. Due to space restrictions, I have limited myself to buying only the ones that I like (mostly Disney!)
That's so cool! I know a lot of people love collecting those, and some of them can even be worth lots of $$$!

My entire family has this weird thing where they always buy me snow globes even though I don't ask for them (or even care about snothat much) so people kind of assume that I collect snow globes when they see how many I have, lolol.

In 7th grade I was way too obsessed with collecting every single bath and body works scent so now I have way more lotion than I would ever need. Still burning through them to this day... More of a hoard than a collection tbh. At least they're pretty.

Thats about it. Hahaha

Oh my goodness girl I know what you mean! At one point my sisters went through a craze over those B&BW pocketbac sanitizers and the collectable sleeves they come with. We must have had over 100 of them and interchangeable sleeves too. It was crazy. My sisters were really the ones that go through phases with their collecting.
First it was rocks, then sanitizers, then zhuzhu pets, then littlest petshops, then my little pony's, then back to littlest petshops. At least my niece always had lots of pretty things to play with! :giggle:

I collect things for like two days and then throw it away.

But I do love quirky things. Most all of my average household things are quirky. For instance, my pillow cases are two sides of a mustache, my favorite "teddy bear" is an Android named Andy, my throw pillows are all social networks, all of my cups are mason jars, etc.

Right now I am collecting frogs. Mostly the old cast iron doorstop kind, but any frog that resembles the real ones not cartoony one. In the past I have collected the vintage floaty pens .. which are the pens that have the back half filled with an oil and have a figure of some sort that floats back and forth. They were used mostly as advertising giveaways. I have pens with every thing from tiny ships, to cinder blocks, to cans of Ajax powder .. even one with a little Newspaper boy. I also have a collection of vintage Disney items ... anything really as long as its Disney related. And the last collection I have is marbles. I love marbles. I have 1000s of marbles. Marbles at one time was an obsession. Working at an auction house one day a week as the clerk has its advantages .. it means I am there every week and I see everything that goes thru, so if I see something to add to my collections I have the opportunity to bid on it.[DOUBLEPOST=1400586463][/DOUBLEPOST]

My dad started an autographed baseball collection when he was a kid, and once I fell in love with baseball, I started adding to it! I haven't been proactive in acquiring new autographs for a couple years, but collectively we have about fifty autographed baseballs from about 40-45 MLB players :)[DOUBLEPOST=1400595937][/DOUBLEPOST]

I can't imagine the kinds of sports memorabilia you see every day. I am beyond jealous.
