Oh no, I just know it's super hard to get in-game on Macs since it's Windows based, and I have a Mac so that's all the info I would be able to provide. But goodluck anyways! Wish I could help more

And it says this every single time I try to login, whether I try again in a few seconds or even a few hours.

Sounds like you have a corrupted cookie. Try deleting all cookies and clearing your cache.

Maybe even try to do a disc clean as well. Won't hurt.

Try using Internet Explorer (as hated as that browser is), myVMKPal, or possibly updating (or downgrading) your Shockwave installation.

You upgraded your shockwave https://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ ? Also, have you tried different browsers? Firefox, Opera, Safari, Explorer? I know Chrome won't work due to it not supporting shockwave.
