I recently cleared all my browsing data on Google Chrome, and now anytime i load into the game I see:
I tried reloading the game a few times, tried re-entering. Tried restarting my computer. I have not yet tried from a different browser yet.
It seems to only be in the Pirates lobby. All other rooms work fine.
Edit: Also appeared during this round. Only on this map, all the other levels/maps i played worked fine
After clearing my data again, i now see no buttons:

Decided to clear my cache again, third time the charm right?
(Hopefully) Final Edit: I completely uninstalled chrome and reinstalled. Issue seems to be fixed. Will update here if it reoccurs
