I doubt this has much do with myvmkpal or myvmk. I recommend installing malwarebytes and running a full scan.

How do you know it's a virus?

There is a pretty gnarly worm circulating PCs lately that acts as an Adobe Flash Updater requesting admin user access to run an "update" constantly.

But if you get a pop up from your antivirus after trying to re-auth through myvmkpal, then it's a false positive.

I'd consider re-evaluating your use of that antivirus as it's not as accurate as you previously thought.

MyVMKPal is 100% safe.

Many antiviruses throw flags on myvmkpal simply becuase it is on on their list of approved programs. AV solutions like MacAffee and Norton have a rather large database it calls to checking to see if the executable you downloaded is safe, then it runs it's scan on it.

Lastly, if you ran malwarebytes and there are no results tracing anything back to myvmkpal, then there is nothing to worry.
