Ray Rice is a complete idiot. Now the NFL is saying he could play again because he has a "strong case". There's a new domestic violence policy for "first-time" offenders ...lol yeah right.. - 6 game maximum suspension (?) I mean, come on dude..really?... What a joke...
Another example of how corrupt things are when money is at stake with football, with the American radio network talking about it constantly... If you take a look at the police department in Tallahassee, they are also corrupt. Delaying the Jameis Winston issues and withholding information etc. That entire city just seems to care about is television money, university money and trying to run their own inner circle of supposed law enforcement and government without any accountability. This kid has blemished the sport of American football even on a collegiate, free education level.
It's not just Tallahassee though, that city has been brought into the limelight because of a sport. The pro - fortunately, it has become an example for people to take a wider look at the overall picture. The con - nothing has really changed yet. It should be a prime example since it's all over the media and radio, on a small scale for beginning to progress towards changing things on a massive scale. America needs more accountability from its city governments and police departments. When they don't, it's up to the people to force them - to rise up. During the 18th century, the 'founding fathers' of what America has become today, (political leaders- those who helped to draft the Declaration of Independence etc.) intended for those living as tax paying individuals to rise up against corrupt law and government - to place itself in a series of checks and balances in both a literal and metaphorical sense, whereas it be domestic or international corruption that tries to take and place limitations on its own governmental entity. The problem is, people don't act nor speak like that anymore. What happened to passionate people about their own government? Has too many sources of entertainment diluted one's own civic duties? What has happened from the 18th century to the 21st century that has caused so many people to not give a ( ) about how accountability has been run? I am completely baffled by this.
