I just wanted to voice my concern over the new Juneteenth pin which has a black and green fist. Now I'm usually pretty lenient when it comes to hate symbols, but when it comes to a symbol of supporting terrorism against other people in the name of power identity politics, I have to call it out. You the administration know very well you would not tolerate a white pride or National Socialist symbolism, yet you promote Black Supremacy with the symbol of the fist and Pan-African colors. Are you aware that this symbol is no different than the swastika, but that it is against whites?

Hello. Juneteenth has recently became a federal holiday. This holiday celebrates African-American cultures and the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans. It is a holiday that uplifts and celebrates African-American cultures and lives. The raised fist symbol isn't a representation of "terrorism" or the oppression of other races. The raised fist is a symbol for those that have been oppressed and it is to remove discriminatory behavior, actions, and beliefs against them. For those of African-American descent like those that were part of the Black Panther Party in the 1960's, the raised fist represented black liberation which was used to fight against the oppression they were facing with the fight for black civil rights. The raised fist symbol also dates back to the 1800's as once again, it represented those that were oppressed and their fight against their oppression.
