can you still open unopened crate #1 if you get a key?

I have 4 unlocked crates & want to igure. Out if trading for keys is worth it??

It's still possible to open Crate #1s if you have the keys for them. Whether or not it's worth it is another question. You can't earn any exceptionally rare items from them anymore (though I've heard you can still get Green/Pink Flip-Flops), but if your a big fan of the Crate furniture, go for it.

it's definitely not worth it. The gold keys are now ironically worth more than the items inside the crate are. :P (Commonly referred to as crate furniture)

I'm pretty sure almost all the decent stuff you can win is retired from crates. The gold keys are kept more than for posterity than anything.

However, you can still unlock and open locked crated crate #1's if you have a gold key.
