I dunno, this isn't from personal experience. Or maybe it sort of is. I just wrote this like 5 minutes ago..but it's how I was feeling before I found some of the people I did <3 I'm grateful for all of my friends that I have come across.
When you look at a list of names
of whose online and whose not
and you look for a while.
What happens when you realize
that none of them really know
who you are.
Who is really there when you
are having a bad day or just
need someone to hang with.
You look again but the names
turn into letters and you
don't even want to play.
You go to a room to be
surrounded by these people
but you don't interact.
You watch as people laugh
or they are having fun
but they don't notice you.
You start to fade from the game
not that anyone seems to care
just because nobody took the time.
Those letters that are
supposed to be friends
they forget about you.
Those pixels that you
love to build with or wear
they disappear into cyberspace.
Deleted.
