Force Feeding sufferers of Anorexia Nervosa?

i updated the OP with an article on the ethics of force feeding (so check under the discussion area, although you can talk about your opinion when it comes to doctors, parents, etc force feeding)

It honestly all depends on the state they're in. If the sufferer is dying, then yes, I believe then at that point it would be okay to force feed them.
However, with acute cases in which the person's anorexia is not life-threatening then no, it's not okay to force feed them.
What many people fail to realize, is that people who suffer from anorexia genuinely feel WORSE after they eat. This feeling inevitably leads to the person doing other things that are worse than just not eating, ie self harm, binging, purging or over-dosing on drugs or even causing them to be suicidal in extreme cases.
That being said, the only person who should be allowed to 'force feed' would be a doctor. If a parent were to do it then the person is obviously not in a life threatening condition because they're not in the hospital.
