How did all you people get all the retired clothing items?

When did MyVMK beta open anyways?
And how does basically everyone have all these retired items?
Did they release them when MyVMK first opened?

It opened on the evening of September 27, 2013.
The majority of the clothing items were released only on Halloween, or during the month of October.
The mickey ears retired early within the game's release.

Wow, so this game is still really new. I though it was already older.

It's only been open for a little over a month. We've all been here since Day 1 for the most part that's how we've collected so many items already.
