Spell Room and Discovery Island?

Does anybody know how to still access these public rooms? I followed my friend to Disovery Island just a few minutes ago but the players that were originally in the room didn't tell anyone how they got there. The same is true for the Spell Room.

Spell room is go through the entrance you are at when you enter the Dungeon (with the Dragon)

Discovery Island is the plank/diving board looky thing in the Pirate Treehouse

some of my favorite rooms are off-map

(discov island, inner space, monorail, spell room, injun joe caves, etc..)
