Struggling to post/create new threads

Not sure if I should put this here. I would have messaged a mod but there are none on at the moment.

I have noticed this past week that several people have made duplicate threads and today when I have tried it looks as though the forums are struggling to accept it, yet when I open another tab my thread or post is there.

When I looked to see if a mod was on I noticed that there are 60!! robots trawling this site and wondered if they were creating the problem and need kicking off for a bit?

I hope that's the issue because I can't even send messages or post reply's without having that issue. Apparently this issue has also caused my email notifications to stop working too :/

Yeah the forums are extremely slow lately. I'm always posting double threads or double PMs are being sent... Sometimes comments as well.

I thought I was the only one seeing double posts and having troubles with the forums such as liking people's post where it won't go through, but if I go later on and look it went through. I've mentioned it to some people before and they didn't really seem to notice anything. Glad to know I'm not the only one!
