vmk takes me hours to log on

i tried downloading the old shockwave but nothing is working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling different versions of shockwave and flash but nothing is working it never loads anymore i try for hours everyday. sometimes when i try to log on a message will pop up saying "unable to open file because it is already open with write permission by another user" which i don't even know how is possible because no one else gets on my account

did you recently upgrade to the new flash? i did and had this problem so i tried installing old flash again and then reinstalled the new one again and it got fixed. Idk if this will help, but thats what worked for me
