I saw someone suggested the default favicon.ico files be replaced so they are not the default

http://myvmk.com/showthread.php?3114-Put-a-MyVMK-logo-and-favicon&p=46313&viewfull=1#post46313

I posted in that thread the files I made

I inserted a png here for you all to view and the correctly formatted ico image is below.

If someone else wants to make a 16 x 16 pixel png / gif or jpg and the admins decide to use your image instead I can correctly make the .ico image as I have Axialis IconWorkshop v6.80

To get a picture of what it looks like upscaled by Windows simply download the zip file and extract all the *.ico files to your desktop. Hopefully you can see why simply downscaling the image to 16 x 16 pixels doesn't work very well. I wish someone updated the favicon.ico to support 64 x 64 ico files or something decent like the original you posted below.

You CAN put multiple variants (with different sizes/bitrates) of the icon in the same .ico. Then, when something wants/can use a larger icon (such as IE desktop shortcuts), it will use the larger one instead.
