Prophecy, do you see the "Thread Tools Tab under where the page numbers are up there ^?

Click that and you will see the option :)

  • Quote Notifications (by default everybody is PMed on quotes)
  • Thanks can now be hidden, see this post.

I noticed something in the postbit called "Mentions". Forgive me if this has been answered, but could someone explain what this is?

Does it mean you use it when you're directly talking to someone else? I appreciate your analogy to Facebook and Twitter, but I don't use those often enough to know about this.
