Netflix Recommendations?

#1
So I love Netflix but sometimes I get so annoyed because half the movies on there I have no idea what they are and if they're actually good. If you have Netflix are there any shows or movies on there that you would recommend? :D

I've recently watched Nowhere Boy, a movie about John Lennon & his relationship with his mother & aunt. It's an OK movie, I guess.

There's also:
The Secret Circle
Bates Motel
American Horror Story
Arrow
Supernatural
Doctor Who
Sherlock

Orange is the new black - good, as long as you aren't easily offended by language and/or very intense "adult" themes.
Bob's Burgers.
Dahmer - was fantastic, again, not good if you don't like serial killers. Adult themes.
Sleepover
King Of The Hill - one of my favorite movies.
LOL - cute movie.

There are lots of old Disney Channel movies.
Cadet Kelley, Cheetah Girls, Cowbelles, High School Musical, Read It and Weep.

You just gotta look hard. c:

To corroborate some TV show recommendations you already received:
- Arrested Development
- Breaking Bad (Season 5.5 drops February 24th, I think)
- Sherlock (I believe series 3 can be streamed through PBS's website, but I don't know about this)

I haven't seen many Netflix movies, but here are a couple classic comedies:
-Airplane
-Spaceballs

I'd also browse through documentaries; there are a lot of good ones on there and if you're into the genre you can find plenty. I probably have enough documentaries queued up to last me several days non-stop.

Also, there's this for good films, since so far people have mostly suggested TV shows. IMDB has a great balenced list of films in the top 250, and these are probably all well worth watching.

5. Memento
6. Terminator 2: Judgment Day

7. Apocalypse Now
8. The Pianist

9. Cinema Paradiso
10. Amelie
11. Double Indemnity
12. Reservoir Dogs

13. Oldboy
14. Witness for the Prosecution
15. All About Eve
16. The Apartment
17. Some Like It Hot
18. Raging Bull
19. Downfall (Amazing foreign film, but is some heavy stuff)

23. Rang De Basanti
24. Warrior
25. Trainspotting
26. Hotel Rwanda
