Issues uploading user icon?

I have been having several problems when trying to upload my user icon to my forum profile. I made sure the dimensions of the image were 200 x 200 pixels at least, but I always get an error message when I click the upload button. Is there a problem happening with the avatar uploading client or am I missing something? Thanks.

You can change your avatar using the Gravatar feature

Anyone whose wondering, you have to make an account with Gravatar, which links to your email address. Then verify it and upload the picture.

EDIT: Might have found the problem, but I don't know if it's something I have permissions to fix. I think the error is that the default library we were using is gone or something. At least, according to others who had this issue.
