Barack Obama

Personally, I don't think he's doing as bad as Bush did, nor as well as Clinton did.
He's sorta being more personal with people, legalizing gay marriage for example,
but lacking in the money side of the issues. He ended the war, and that's a big
point for him in many peoples books.
I can say his foreign policy is a bit of an improvement. We have a shrinking military budget and he did mostly end the wars.

Nitpick though: I don't think Clinton was that great. His success was a matter of being in the right place at the right time. We could have had a can of beans as the President and the economy would have boomed regardless. (Thank you, Internet.) I've seen arguments that he set the housing collapse into motion. Admittedly, Bush exacerbated the oncoming disaster and ignored some warning signs, but the financial sector was deregulated during the Clinton administration.
The Fed yo. We shouldn't bail out the financial sector. It's not the deregulation that's the issue. It's the no consequences that we have when we bail out. Bubbles burst. The solution is not to try and buy out of the consequences.

I hope you realize that the bush administration did the majority of the work with finding bin laden. Obama basically just gave the go ahead.
Obama may actually be the worst president ever. Anyone remember "you can keep your healthcare plan if you like it"?? Lol. That was actually voted the biggest lie of the year. I think part of the reason he actually got elected was because if people didn't vote for him, they were afraid of being labeled as racist. Obama is not a good president at all. He thought there was 57 states. Lol!!!! He's just told so many lies, too many scandals for me to name. I would probably rank him as the worst president ever, even behind carter and bush. Counting down the days till rand paul becomes our president

I don't even know where to begin with this reply...

You need to start by doing some research.

I'm a libertarian who would vote for Rand Paul and even I find the last half of this completely bogus.

The housing crisis has links to the Fed, but the thing is that the housing market was so deeply rooted into the entirety of the financial sector. You had enormous companies with almost all of their value tied up in credit derivatives rather than actual assets. Clearly that's an issue, and someone should have picked up on it and stopped it.

The nature of the derivatives themselves is even more ridiculous, but that's a different story.

Bailouts are a bad idea, though. Don't condine recklessness.

I'm not an Obama fan by any means, but I don't think he's nearly terrible enough to rank as the worst President of all time. Some real nasty stuff went down before and after Lincoln's Presidency.

I don't think Rand can win a Presidential election either, but whatever.

Too many liberals
Any conservative people
??
Jedi is conservative. Not in the Republican sense, but conservative.

Like, in the social sense but not the fiscal sense?

I'm a classical liberal. That's like half a conservative. TBH, there's no real line of reasoning or ideology that leads to neo-conservatism, so I don't see why someone would buy into it if they think it through.

So you're basically saying that people cannot be fully conservative ??

1) If the Bush administration did most of the work why was Osama bin Laden not captured and/or assassinated when Bush was president?

2) People voted for him because they wanted to. Why would people think they'll be called a racist if they don't vote for Obama? Most people don't tell anyone else who they voted for. The thought of being referred to as a racist is completely untrue.

3) Sure, he has lied before but so has every other president.

4) Every president has had scandals during their presidency.

5) Rand Paul most likely won't even become president in 2016. There are many other strong contenders for presidency.

6) Obamacare was implemeneted so everyone could have healthcare whether they could afford it or not. Also, the cost of receiving healthcare was significantly reduced.

7) When he said there were 57 states, he said it during the time he was campaigning. Giving speech after speech can and will tire you out, so you are bound to make some sort of error when speaking. Not everyone is perfect and we all make mistakes.

They can, but I fail to see the line of logic and reasoning that gets you to policies and that they have. I'm a libertarian. My ideology can best be summed up as
People have the right to do as they see fit, so long as that does not infringe upon the liberty of others
Being able to sum up your ideology in one sentence like that make it easy to apply it to policy in general. The problem I have with conservatism in the conventional sense of the word is that you'd be hard pressed to have a single sentence from which you derive what policies are best.
Thing is, the definitions of liberal and conservative are muddled. I prefer the political spectrum, with four corners than essentially are (West - Modern Democrats, East - Republicans and Conservatives, South - Libertarians and Anarchist and North - Fascism/Statism).

tl;dr: I'm a libertarian, which is basically a liberal who REALLY likes free markets.

The cost was not reduced. It was displaced. The money has no government has no wealth of it's own, and can only spend by first appropriating money from others, or displacing the value of money through inflation.

We have been inching closer and closer to being a European Socialist state since the 80s and Obama has propelled us faster into Socialism. All it would take is for the people to forget what the Constitution says about freedom for the next President to completely take away all our rights as American citizens. But as long as we have our Smart phones and Play Stations we are happy campers do not bother looking at the fact that another freedom has been swiped from under you.

I think it's impossible to have a president without people treating him/her like they're the worst we've ever had.

I don't think Obama is the best president in my lifetime, and he's certainly not the worst. People are way too overdramatic when it comes to his administration.

Every president since Truman has left office with a lower approval rating than when they entered office except for Clinton.

Reagan's administration was statistically one of the most corrupt of any president. And only the very extreme conservatives "loved" him. That is not "almost everyone".

If you're going to add your input then at least google his name first and do a little research.
