Best Software for recording VMK Video?

Hi everyone!

I'll be hosting a VMK Version of Rupaul's Drag Race this summer, and I would just like to know which software would be best to record video for it. I'd prefer something free/affordable with great quality and little/no watermark would be perfection. What would you guys reccomend? Also, if it helps it doesn't have to record audio for we'll be adding audio in. Thanks!

You can try looking into Fraps. It's $37, which I thought was an oddly specific, but reasonable price. Also if you sign up for Twitch I believe they have a way for you to livestream and then also record your stream, so you could host a private livestream and then just record your session (For free I might add ;D)

I make videos all the time for MyVMK as a part of my QA work. I personally use OBS and it works like a charm.

Hypercam 2 works great for me.

The absolute best software is Screenflow. Although, it's only available for Mac.

I think the best windows alternative I can find is Snagit. There's a free trial available, and I'm sure there's ways to fudge it a little longer than 15 days if you need to.

I am unsure if its available for macs or not as I never owned one and I believe they made it free, look hyperionics up.
