Can't place items on top of water carpets

Okay so I'm trying to redecorate my room and I can't put the waterfall on top of the water carpets I have. It's a bit silly that I can't put things on top of a carpet. Is this how it is or is this a bug? Please help!

Never mind, it's actually working now.

@princess-jassel If you're trying to put an item larger than the carpet ontop of the carpet it will not work. You need to put carpets completely under an item for it to work. Like if an item is 2x2 you can't put it on 1 water carpet. You'll need 4. Not sure if this was your problem, but if it was now you know for the future and if not, good thing it's working again :P

@linymae Ohh that's why it worked haha. Thanks for telling me, that makes for sense. I wish it weren't like that tbh
