The way i like to express my emotions through the internet is through symbols, who else would like to be able to use signs and symbols to express emotions? i dont see why not :J

You could use all of those in OVMK. There were only a few symbols (such as the dollar sign and the percent symbol) that didn't work.

i was a little too late for open vmk :/ when i finally found it it had already shut down i was really disappointed i thought i would finally be able to "relive the magic" but i remember on vmk they didnt let us use certain signs and symbols only the basic from what i could remember

I like the symbols. I don't see any reason to not allow them.

As said above, all of the symbols you used were allowed in VMK! You should have no problem expressing yourself in MyVMK
