Hair help!

Hi!!! I was wondering if any of you have tips on growing out your bangs? My bangs are okay BUT they are annoying to me now. I heard it was best if you trim every six weeks then try to blend them in with the rest of your hair. How did you grow out your bangs or style them?

I don't usually trim my hair, but my sisters told me that if I were to trim the ends of my hair (the dead ends) that my hair will grow more
