Help! Can't access HM Attic - no exits showing

I am having problems with not being able to see the exits to the Attic after visiting Phineas (yet again). I have had this problem before but could always resolve it by doing the steps below. This time I can't! I have:

1) Cleared temp folders & cache
2) Updated Shockwave (and checked it)
3) Updated Flash Player (and checked it)
4) Installed all Windows Updates
5) Disc cleaned
6) Defragged

This is happening in both Firefox and MyVMKPal so it is obviously something computer related and not browser but I really don't want to miss out on @GHOST_Crash 's quest tomorrow if I have to visit Ezra or Gus.

Any advice please?

Star I have had this problem and found that turning computer off and back on works after doing all the steps you already did.

I have rebooted it several times, including being switched off all last night. Thanks for answering though.

@Stargirll It worked for me after i removed shockwave and then reinstalled it so I'm not sure why its not working for you.

edit: I also rebooted the computer also. Also The main street electrical parade quest does not involve in going into any of the haunted mansion rooms so you should be okay for now .

Thank you @Expect for letting me know about the quest. I was panicking a little haha

I uninstalled shockwave and shut down the computer and put it in the naughty corner overnight. Next day I re-installed shockwave - no joy.

For some reason I rebooted and yay, it finally worked again!

Guess I had a bugged shockwave update Thanks for all your help everyone!
