If you have an item selected and you store an item from your room you currently have 0 of in your inventory and it appears before your selected item then obviously it pushes back every item. The problem here is that the select item gets changed as instead of keeping the same item highlighted, it highlights the box where the item was. Basically the selected item gets changed to the one that was before it before you stored the item.
Not a game-breaking problem but one that should be fixed when possible.
