I know that this comes a day late, but the value of this message rings true across the time periods of american and world history.
We are all so grateful for the sacrifice that our american heroes ha e made throughout history, but a lot of people need to remember that war is NOT a one sided thing. People sacrifice on both sides knowing that they need to protect their country from the enemy. It's not just our boys and girls that fight, but countless families across the world loose a man or woman that they loved. Children's hearts are broken. Emotional wounds are made. In the end we are all human! NOT saying that I'm not grateful for the sacrifice that our american heroes made, because I am extremely grateful, but we also need to remember those on the other side who fought for their country. Just because they were the enemy does not make them any less of a hero.
And that is my humble opinion!
