Our own designs?

What about something to design your own clothes or accessories like in animal crossing but you have to buy "material" for the products you want to make or you design it and then to "print" or make it you pay whatever comes up for it? Like each piece has a certain cost so cost of the pieces + cost of the material + amount to make = total cost?
