Sword pins

I'm new to the game and have been confused about sword pins... hopefully someone can help me out!

How do I use the sword pins I get from the rides in Fantasyland Courtyard? I tried double-clicking the sword and what not, but nothing ever happens... so I don't know if I'm just doing it wrong.

You click the wand tab( bottom of your screen) then click your sword pins!

I'm not sure if this is true for everyone, but usually I get more lucky when I save up the pins and pull them continuously at one time. Give it a try!
