Both me and my brother attempted it at the Disneyland Paris (whichever park has the Sword In The Stone, most likely the Magic Kingdom) and both of us failed. The next kid in line steps up after me, and just yanks the thing right out the stone and loads of staff and characters come over to congratulate him and give him some kind of reward. I think it was a free gift from the gift shop. So after witnessing that, I much prefer my odds on VMK.
