Unnecessary hashtags in text bubbles?

When I went to go collect the daily credits from the NPC's, I noticed each text bubble sent by different players seemed bugged with hashtags? Since the game is back up, I wonder if something in the game glitched...

I was able to log in finally and start a game of HM, but then I dc'd. I log back in and I couldn't see myself or anyone else except for one person and I couldn't see what anyone was saying. So I logged in again and same thing except I could see people talking. Plus, there are the ### like you said. I wonder if staff knows what's going on. I would assume since we can at least log in now. This is bumming me out because I like to play a few games of HM before I go about my day. I need to destress with HM!
