UPDATE: Infraction Points & Bans

Like I said tony, why not just warn them and ban them if they do it again. I'm aware they're "Infraction Points" but WHY the points, again are we trying to keep score or..?

The infraction points aren't public. The only people who can view the infractions are forum staff and the individual person. Not all offenses are deserving of a ban which is why the infraction system is in place.

Glad to see something was put into place for the forum. I've seen inappropriate behavior here when no staff was on.
When you follow the rules, you need not to worry

Since everyone else is posting their suggestions, I think it should be set up like this:

10 infractions - 3 day ban
10 infractions again - 1 week ban
10 infractions again - 1 month
10 infractions again - 3 month ban
10 infractions again - 1 year
10 infractions again - permanent.

After each ban is complete, the person has 0 infractions.
