Ugh, right? I just ended up downloading myvmk pal since neither Chrome or IE work anymore for me..

Starting with Chrome 45 which will be released later this month, Chrome will officially not support Shockwave and in-turn MyVMK. Solutions until Amy releases the new client are to use another browser such as Firefox, or to migrate to MyVMKPal which will support shockwave for the foreseeable future.

No. Until Amy releases the new client, MyVMK will no longer work on Chrome once your Chrome updates to version 45. myVMKPal uses an older version of Chrome, that does support shockwave. So, to continue playing you will either need to migrate to Firefox or start using myVMKPal.

tl;dr: myVMKPal will not fix the chrome issue, but it is a different way to play.
