i'm actually astounded by the arrogance and rudeness of some of the people in this community.

personally, to me, i believe earning credits should be a little easier in this game again (by raising clams back to 25, as stated previously in this thread), for what i hope to be a common thing among everyone in the community.

first of all, vmk was a game, that we were supposed to enjoy (and many of us did when it was open). since it's closed for 5 years and been brought, that feeling of joy while playing the game should be even more so prevalent, in my opinion. a lot of us are simply looking to have our favorite items and get items that we weren't previously able to achieve in the original game. the way the game is now, it being so hard to get credits, it's very hard to be able to get that for some people.

everyone knows life isn't fair, games aren't always fair, but this is a GAME. we should be HAPPY playing this game. we shouldn't be annoyed that if we want to get a single star of the current magic, some people have to play up to 4 straight hours of a game that's, honestly, pretty anxiety inducing.

i don't think anybody truly cares about the economy, nobody cares about coming ahead, and that's never what the original game was (intended to be) about either.

it truly makes me sad to see people arguing like this in a tread.

Look, if you don't like the way the game is operating you are under no obligation to play. Amy and Kevin (and Nick before, yall ragged on him too) brought the game back for people like me - who just wanted to maybe meet up with friends from long ago, before we had emails and texting, who we hadn't seen in years. For those of us who just wanted to come back to what, for me at least, was my middle school social life. If you can't appreciate that - if you're treating this as "it must revolve around me. I need stuff. I need credits" then please leave. I haven't had above 1k credits for the past three weeks. I manage. I actually enjoy it. It makes me budget. You have a month to buy the magic. 3 hours of fireworks is 180 minutes. Play one game a day, you'll be close to 2* magic just there. If you want more, play more. That's simple. You cannot expect to just get, because what will those who do put time and effort in receive?

All of you that say it should be easier to make credits are complaining that people have to much time so they are rich. well as i stated before if you make the price of shells back up to 25 or 50 those same people will just have more stuff because it will be easier for them too. I try to spend an hour a day playing and usually get at least 5k credits. That is enough for me to have everything i want. If i went and did the shells i could make 4k in an hour and i suck at it so you all should be able to get more if your so good at shell collecting. I have all day to play because Im a stay at home mom. So its my fault that you guys have school and homework and dont have time to play. AMY should make it easier for you to get credits because you dont have the time to play the game. You guys sound like the greedy ones to me.

Everyone has an opinion about this subject, and everyone has a right to their opinion without criticism from others.

With only 1 minigame with which to earn credits, shells is a painfully slow way to earn credits at 10 shells each....as simple as that.

When there is a choice of 4 games to earn credits in by all means shells should dissapear, in the meantime they should go back to 25 IMO.

Items coming out at 10k credits each are very difficult for people to get right now, with very few earning options for credits, unlike VMK which always had 4 minigames running.

Like others, I had to pick and choose what I wanted to buy since I had a limited number of credits, I let many things I might have bought go, and thats ok. Right now release of items is a bit fast paced for most players and doers indeed create that "left behind" feeling, if youre good at Fireworks grats, you have earning potential right now, but I'm tired of hearing people say go get better at Fireworks etc...... Personally I'm not investing tons of time in a minigame I don't enjoy.

Getting items and buying things is part of the game lets face it, so right now there is a group who can and a group who can't afford new items as they come out, this needs to be balanced out, either by 25 credit shells, or less expensive items for now. Once everything is in place to earn credits( all the minigames) then it will be fair and everyone will have the chance to earn credits to spend on items. We have moved to fast and favored too few in my opinion, as far as earning potential and release of items.

lol if you actually think i was trying to make somebody feel small or attacking them just because i called them out on how selfish they sounded.

some of you people are so easily flustered.
Honestly how is it selfish? I didn't know having a different opinion/desire was absurd. Human beings ARE selfish. That's how it is. Excuse those of us for wanting to have a better game experience.

And then there's the "don't play then." Well maybe some people stick around because they want to relive childhood memories. And maybe they're unsatisfied because it's not living up to those memories. Everyone has a right to feel how they do. You can tell them to stop playing, but you can't make them.

Not everything has to be picked at. If a person is unhappy, so be it. Like I said earlier, can we come up with a happy medium? State your opinion, suggest what you think should be, have a comment, and leave it at that. All this extra attitude is so unnecessary. People on this thread have an issue of trying to shame others for their different thoughts. I'll leave it at that.

And then someone will attempt to play an analyzer, break what I'm saying apart, and refute (some how). Have fun. I've said my piece.

It's one thing to express your opinion, but when you take in account only your personal problems that affect you from playing the game and not other people, then it becomes a selfish issue. Saying that one thing should be changed because your busy schedule doesn't accommodate it is selfish.

Such as me. I don't have anything (barely). The list of my "rare" items is limited to having the cowboy costume, 2 carpet magics, 1 invis magic. That's it.

Do I want more? Sure. Do I want it bad enough to work for them? Sure. Do I need them so badly I throw hissy fits to get the rules changed to let me get them super easily because I'm too lazy to work for them? No.

1. Yes. Well said.

2. You are under no obligation to play the minigame. However, you are also unable to impose an obligation on others to give you more ways to get credits.

3. No, there needs to be no balancing. There will always be the haves and the have-nots. Are you also suggesting we give all new players 5 mansion clocks, 100,000 credits, or what? Balancing means that there is no economy - it's the equivalent of communism/socialism.

4. It is completely fair right now. If you don't like what you're given, don't take it. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit (if you don't like it).

Here's a passage from an essay: http://debate-central.ncpa.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Classical-Liberalism-John-Goodman.pdf

Joe's right to build a swing set obligates others to stay out of the way. It does not obligate others to help Joe ? by furnishing labor, materials, etc. So, Joes' right creates negative obligations for others, not positive onesFor example, the right to free speech implies a (negative) obligation on the part of others not to interfere with your speaking. It does not create the (positive) obligation to provide you with a platform, a microphone and an audience
(Joe in this case is someone who has the fundamental right to build a swing set if he so chooses)

In the same way, your right to make credits and buy items implies a (negative) obligation on the part of Kevin/Amy/everyone else to not interfere with you obtaining credits, for example by not disabling Fireworks just for you. It does not, however, create a (positive) obligation for them to do anything at all to help you get credits.

i love how you said its like communism. It totally is! Thats like saying I worked all day today to get my paycheck while you sat on your butt because you dont like the work that is available for you right now. So now your hungry and I should buy you dinner because you didnt feel like working and have no money LOL
