You wouldn't be criticized if you didn't constantly contradict yourself in everything you post.. just saying.
I don't mean to but I guess I do that sometimes and I do wish there were more Christians out there to help change all the evil, hate, and bull ******** out there but lets get back on topic and share our opinions freely.

I'm Christian as well, and I don't really know how I feel about whether being gay is right or wrong. What I do know is that most of my guy friends are gay, and I love them just the way they are. :)

I think it's great Disney's exposing children to other lifestyles. I'm sure many of these kids have seen the Fosters anyway (which is amazing, by the way).

Differences are a part of life. People need to accept that.

This thread is crazy haha.

I mean, Disney Channel already made and aired the episode. We can't do anything about it. Instead of jumping on each other about opinions and how we have the wrong ones, we might as well state our opinion and try our hardest not to quote somebody and argue with them about their beliefs.
I mean they're beliefs for a reason. It's cool to talk about your beliefs and all, but I don't think we should be arguing with each other about them. I'll respect yours if you respect mine.

yes but problems come up when someone tries to apply their beliefs to everyone. that's when your beliefs stop being harmless. i'll respect people's beliefs if they agree not to tell me i'm wrong in what i feel and i'm wrong for wanting kids like me to feel normal.

All of this really just comes down to how you raise your children which is if you raise your children to think being Gay is ok or being Gay is not ok. Either way there will always be concerned parents that want to keep their kids shielded from stuff until they reach a certain age so the big point is how you are going to raise your kids. Also if you are a Christian you know that in the bible it says your not supposed to be romantically involved with the same sex but it also says thou shall not judge so either way its a matter of your opinion and religion.
Question, do you do any of this?
-eat ham
-get a hair cut
-gossip
-believe in remarriage after a divorce (or divorce in general?)
-work on sabbath
-AND FOR YOU LADIES, do you talk in church?
-eat shrimp, lobster, other seafood, etc
-do the dirty before you get married

Because the bible specifically forbids all of this.

I think the main thing is though I have seen gays on plenty of different shows but the last place I ever thought I would see them is on Disney Channel and it was just a bit of a shock to me because I just never pictured something like that on Disney Channel but either way I am glad we are all sharing our opinions and thanks for posting.

dude you really need to install some rearview mirrors for all this backpedaling.
"i never pictured something like that on disney channel"? how is it a shock? lgbtq+ aren't(or shouldn't) be treated as anything out of the ordinary.

otherwise, yes for opinions.

I am not backpedaling gosh I am just trying to say it shocked me a bit and I am just explaining how I felt when I first saw it because all I ever thought of Disney Channel as was a channel for kids and families to watch comedy and stuff like Wizards Of Waverly's Place or Suite Life Of Zack And Cody.

Being gay isn't inappropriate, so I don't understand how it isn't family-friendly.
If you don't like it, then don't watch it.

Yes well everyone has a different opinion on that some people think it is inappropriate, some people think it is appropriate, and some people think its gross so either way it basically just ranges up to everyone's different opinion on the matter.

If you decide to lash out on Disney for introducing this type of thing to your kid instead of helping your kid learn about it, you're a bad parent. It's not a hard concept to understand and it shouldn't be a problem. Let all the 7 year olds in the world play Call of Duty but as soon as they see two girls kiss, it's time to riot. Yeesh. Let your child have their own beliefs.

I never thought Vanessa Hudgens, or Miley Cyrus would post nudes online. Or Zac Efron would have a drug problem. But yah know, people tend to do things that simply surprise us. :)

News flash, this just in. Dylan Sprouse posted nudes as well. Oh wait, that's old news. So family oriented and appropriate, Disney Channel is.

Ok see right there when I am a parent I would not let my child go anywhere near a Call Of Duty game or an R rated or PG13 movie unless I watched it myself and know its ok and also I would not let my child know about sex till they are 13 and also when my child is older enough to understand I will tell them about Gay people. Also the list just continues on with my children want be allowed to curse until they are out of my house and they want be allowed to have sex till they are married or out of my house and of course they want be allowed to look at porn or anything else that I don't believe they should be doing. Which if you look at everything I said here I gave some of the main basics of being a good parent and what your kids have not business doing because see the problem is in this day and age parents do not discipline their kids the way they use to which is why they are getting pregnant when they are teens or going to jail for selling drugs or under age drinking and ********. Also I would say I would prefer my daughters to go out with a guy and my son to go out with a girl because in my opinion that's how it should be and also because I want some grand kids when they get married.
